The Linyanti area has a large wildlife resource with a wide variety of species, but is most noted for its very large Elephant herds, which can reach enormous densities during the winter season. Throughout the safari, there are good sightings of Impala, Lechwe, Kudu, Zebra, Giraffe, Sable, Waterbuck, Buffalo and the smaller plains antelope. The major predators such as Lion, Leopard, Cheetah, Wild Dog and Hyena are also regularly sighted. At Mombo, there is a chance to view the rare and elusive White, and Black, Rhino.

Jao Camp is sited on a private reserve island, to the west of the Moremi Game Reserve in the heart of the Okavango Delta.
