Selinda Camp
Resting along the Selinda spillway, Selinda Camp boasts 8 deluxe tents offering sweeping vistas of the untouched wilderness. Within the diverse microenvironments of the Selinda Game Reserve, wildlife thrives abundantly. The vast savannahs provide an ideal habitat for cheetahs, while the dense woodland thickets offer perfect camouflage for the elusive leopards. Renowned for its substantial elephant and buffalo herds, as well as frequent sightings of African wild dog dens near the camp, Selinda Camp is a sanctuary for nature enthusiasts.
Selinda Camp has three luxury tents and a two-bedroom family suite; each spacious under cooling thatch construction and raised on wooden platform decks. The atmosphere has a Robinson Crusoe ambiance, with textured ropes, thatched-roof, hammocks, spacious layouts, nautical motifs, and salvaged wood, fostering a sense of adventure and tranquility.
Activities available at Selinda Camp: Safari drives led by experienced guides, Guided nature walks with rangers, River cruises through the wetlands, Catch-and-release fishing (available from January to February)
Occasional sightings of specialized antelope like eland and sable are also possible. Roan antelope features as the most significant antelope regularly seen in Selinda but quite rare in other parts of Botswana and Southern Africa.

The private 320,000-acre Selinda Reserve boasts large elephant herds, regular sightings of the Selinda pack of African wild dogs, and the famous Selinda lion pride recently featured in the National Geographic documentary “Birth of a Pride”, filmed by the Jouberts.

We offer daily scheduled flights from all major African airports to our private airstrip.
Selinda camp is about 15 minutes away from the airstrip and we provide complimentary road transfer to camp. Private charters on our fleet of luxury aircraft as well as helicopters are available by request.

Selinda has only 3 tents, each featuring a thatched roof and expansive en-suite bathrooms with a private pool for utmost relaxation. Each suite features a unique design, with its own distinct color palette and thematic elements. Drawing inspiration from various cultures, we incorporate the concept of 'metal', considered the fifth element in some traditions, into the design. Our aim is to evoke the essence of Livingstone's era, reflecting what he would have carried and experienced during his expeditions.
GUIDED SAFARIS®
Set in one of the most pristine wilderness areas left on our planet. Selinda exhibits a variety of habitats and wildlife and is renowned for hosting some of the finest African wild dog sightings in Botswana, with resident packs denning on the reserve, very close to camp, for several consecutive years. Large buffalo herds of up to 1000 animals also move to the region once the floodwaters of the Spillway subside. In a truly spectacular landscape, the area offers river cruises and excellent fishing, in season.
